August 28: The NYMets won five straight games on the road this last week. It is the first time they have won five straight road games since May, 2002. They have now won 11 of their last 14 games.
June 2: Ramon Castro has been put back on the active roster, but now Dae-Sung Koo has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a bruised rotator cuff. The NYMets also recalled lefthanded pitcher Royce Ring from Class AAA Norfolk of the International League.
June 2: The NYMet's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks was interrupted for a short period when the Shea Stadium sprinkler system went off during the first inning. The NYMets won 6-1.
May 29: The NYMets lost 6-3 against the Florida Marlins after the Marlins scored 5 runs in the 7th inning. Bell replaved Glavine to pitch at the start of the 7th inning. The NYMets had been leading 2-1 at the end of the 6th inning. Hmmmm... Furthermore, the NYMets had beat the Marlins 6-1 on the 28th, 1-0 on the 27th and 12-4 on the 26th..
May 16: Ramon Castro (#11) was put on the disabled list for 15 days due to Strained right quadriceps and should come off the disabled list on May 31.
